Messenger of Truth Church is celebrating 35 years of service! To celebrate this occasion we were asked to make a hoodie that would commemorate this milestone, and after selling out of the first time around, we were asked to bring them back once more and allow everyone a chance to own one.
 
So what makes these hoodies so special? We can all see the outline of the three crosses and our church logo in the framing of the window design. However we wanted these hoodies to be a little more special than that alone and in an effort to do so we hid some symbolism in the design of the windows. They are described below, as well as shown in the images above. 
 
The dove and the olive branch. An aspect of the original Messenger of Truth church logo but also a messenger in the Bible. Genesis 9:12 writes “...and behold in her beak was a freshly picked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the water was abated from the earth”
 
The praying man. A small reminder for all of us, no matter how hard life gets, our Father is always there and will always be there, waiting for you.
 
The 2 halos. A small memorial in remembrance of our dearly beloved Billy and Sophia, who will forever be in our hearts. One halo for the Tsaruk family, and one for the Kovalevich family.
 
The flame. Used repeatedly in the Bible to signify the glory of our God. Exodus 24:17, Luke 3:16, Acts 2:3-4, Exodus 3:2-6 and others.
The shepherd and the sheep. As it's written “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:11-18. The little sheep symbolizes us, and the shepherd, Him, the good shepherd.
